Management of natural resources has become a greater challenge for federal agencies as the public and corporate stakeholders focus on environmental issues.

The issues run the gamut from maintenance and use of hiking trails to archeological site protection and financial oversight of federal land initiatives.

The staff assigned to resource management projects are experienced in the principles, concepts, and theories of Environmental Resource Management sciences, (e.g. public lands, wilderness, outdoor recreation, mapping) and understand their components so they may facilitate the planning, design, coordination and implementation of wilderness-related projects.
